Alberta is attracting strong interest from hyperscale data centre developers, but federal emissions rules could slow growth in building the power supply to feed new facilities, TransAlta Corporation chair of the board John Dielwart said at the recent Canadian Energy Executive Association (CEEA) business forum in Banff.
