CER Denies NGTL Application For Proposed Firm Linked Transportation Service
The Commission of the Canada Energy Regulator (CER) has denied a NOVA Gas Transmission Ltd. (NGTL) application for a proposed firm linked transportation service, and associated tolling methodology, between the North Montney Mainline in northeast B.C. to the proposed Willow Valley Interconnect delivery point.
The Willow Valley Interconnect delivery point is where the NGTL System will connect to the Coastal GasLink pipeline.
The Commission approved NGTL’s request to designate the Willow Valley Interconnect delivery point as a Group 1 delivery point.
The Commission will release its reasons for decision, along with a decision on whether to affirm the North Montney Mainline tolling methodology, at a later date.
